Domestic Skip Hire During The Covid 19 Pandemic
The UK government has classified waste management as a critical service, and so Martlands Waste Management is continuing to supply skips to our domestic customers. This service is, of course, subject to some increased precautions to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our customers and staff. Please note the following before calling us to order and pay for a skip.
- Please do not interact with our collection or delivery drivers, and always observe the 2-metre social distancing rule
- Please remain in your property when the skip is being delivered or collected. Any paperwork will be put through your letterbox: no signatures are required
- Cash is not being accepted at the present time – you can pay by credit or debit card over the telephone
- If you are self-isolating due to themselves or someone within their household displaying symptoms of the virus you must tell us at the time of the order. If your status changes after your order are placed, please call us as although we cannot deliver or collect a skip to those who are self-isolating, we can rearrange it for a future date
- Skips will be collected 3-4 days after you fill them, to reduce the risk to our employees who will collect or sorting the waste from contracting the virus from the waste inside the skip
