What are the restrictions in Lockdown 3?
People in England must stay at home. You can only go out of your home for essential purposes. Primary and secondary schools will be closed for all pupils except for vulnerable and keyworker children.
The legitimate reasons to leave home include:
- Work, if it is “not reasonable” to work from home.
- Shopping for essentials such as food or medicine
- Moving home
- Meeting with a support or childcare bubble.
- Exercise outdoors (once per day). You can meet one other person from another household outdoors in public to exercise
- Education, childcare, medical appointments and emergencies
- Children may move between parents if they are separated
- Attending places of religious worship
