Call us to talk through your needs if you are unsure – it’s always better to allow some leeway as you will nearly always find more waste than you thought! We can supply many skips from 4-tonne midi skips for household clear-outs through to huge 40 yard Roll On / Roll Off skips for bigger building jobs.
Skips can only be filled level with the markings at the top to allow for safe waste transportation.
A skip is not allowed to be placed on a public highway without first getting a permit (the cost of this will vary between councils). We can, if you ask, obtain the Local Authority permit for you if the skip is suitably sized to go on the road.
The vehicle that delivers your skip needs some space to unload safely. Our drivers are extremely good at placing and retrieving skips but if you think it will be tight then please talk to us.
Almost any waste: but tyres, paint, fridges and asbestos are forbidden. If you need help, please ask!
At Martlands Skip Hire, we aim for all possible waste to be recycled at our own recycling centre.
