Call us to talk through your needs if you are unsure – it is always better to allow some leeway as you will nearly find far more waste than you ever anticipated! We can offer many skips from 4-tonne midi skips for household clear-outs through to huge 40 yard Roll On/Roll Off skips for bigger building jobs.
Skips can be filled level with the top – this is to allow for safe transportation of waste.
No skip may be put on a public highway without having the appropriate permit (the cost varies between councils). We can, if you wish, apply for a Local Authority permit for you if the skip will be of a suitable size to go on the road.
The vehicle delivering your skip needs enough space to unload safely. Our drivers are extremely skilled at placing and retrieving skips but if you think it could be particularly difficult then please talk to us.
Most waste is okay: but tyres, paint, asbestos and refrigerators are not allowed. If you need assistance with any specific waste type, please just ask!
At Martlands Skip Hire, all possible waste is recycled here at our own dedicated recycling centre.
