A RORO Skip is a large container which that is primarily used in the construction industry. It is designed to hold large volumes of waste. Roll On Roll Off skips are much larger than a standard type of skip, so they are best used in large construction projects where there are huge quantities of dry materials to be disposed of. They have back opening doors which are large to allow easy access for forklift trucks or dumpers.
What Sizes Are Roll On Roll Off Skips Available In?
The big size of a RORO skip is not its only benefit. Roll On Roll Off Skips can be hired in several different sizes. Smaller RORO Skips are suitable for small quantities of very heavy waste such as bricks, soil or rubble and other inert materials. The biggest Roll On Roll Off skips can’t be filled up to the brim with such heavy waste as if you do they will most likely be too heavy to be lifted away. These types of skip are most suitable for lighter bulk waste such as glass, timber or metal.
